Our Team

Chantel Ariannejad

Nursery Manager

I have worked at Nursery@Aspire since it first opened in 2011. I started as Deputy Manager and Room Leader of the Dolphin Room.

I have always had a passion for Early Years and since graduating from university with a sociology degree, have always had jobs in the childcare/educational sector.

As I’ve worked at the nursery from the within the room I feel I have a better understanding of what the job involves from the position of the practitioners, assistants and room leaders.

I am open to new ideas and keeping up to date with current legislation and ideas in early years. I am a believer in the nursery and have an open door policy.

Despoina Tsipouridou

Room Leader – Dolphins

Hello my name is Despoina and I am Room Leader in the Dolphin Room (Baby Room). I am originally from Greece and have lived in London for a year and a half.

I have a Bachelors degree in Early Years Childhood Education and have full Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).

I worked as part of a puppet theatre group in Greece for one year and was involved in writing scenarios, making the puppets and preparing and taking part in the shows. During Circle Time I like to use these skills to put on puppet shows for the children to engage them.

I have experience working with pre-schoolers in Greece, but most of my experience has been gained working at Nursery@Aspire. I started as a Practitioner in the Dolphin Room (Baby Room) and I love working with the babies and watching them grow and develop.

Eleni Marvaki

My name is Eleni, I am originally from Greece and have lived in London for four years.

I have a Bachelors degree in Early Years Childhood Education and have full Qualified Teaching Status (QTS). I started my career in Greece as a Reception teacher in a private nursery and in addition, worked as a practitioner in a   Museum for educational programmes.

When I first came to England, I worked as a SEN Teaching assistant in a primary school.

I have been Room Leader for the Froggies for almost two years. I started off as a practitioner in the Dolphin Room and am one of the longest running members of staff at the nursery having started in 2013.

I am passionate about working in early years and love my job. I think it’s magical and every day is unique. My motivation and daily challenge is to meet every child’s needs and potential, to activate each child’s own natural desire to learn.
